Molybdenum rod Molybdenum rods and molybdenum bars is manufactured from high purity powder by PM technology, as random length pieces or cut to customers desired lengths. ReTi Metal supply our valuable customers pure molybdenum rods and bars, or so called "high temperature molybdenum" TZM alloy and Mo-La alloy. The Molybdenum (Moly) rods and bars are rolled and drawn through tungsten carbide or diamond dies for thinner pieces, while forged to size for the bigger ones. Surface condition for molybdenum rods and bars: Black – Surface is "as swaged" or "as drawn" retaining a coating of processing lubricants and oxides. Cleaned - Surface is chemically cleaned to remove all lubricants and oxides. Ground - Surface is centerless ground to remove all coating and to achieve precise diameter control.
